877 Australian Education Professionals had their say about their challenges and priorities for 2020.

The Education Horizon Group release a new research report today on the intentions and directions of Australian schools for 2020. Based on the opinions and views of 877 Principals, Deputy Principals, Teachers, Business Managers and administrators, and Technology Managers from independent and government schools across Australia.

Tim Dawson, CEO of Education Horizons Group said “Too often people outside of education comment on the future of education. That’s why this research is meaningful. You’re hearing straight from the staff on the frontline about what’s important.”

The findings reveal what the future holds for our schools. A focus on student and staff well-being, embedding best practice pedagogy, streamlining operations, engaging the school community, and improving system security and integrations.

The report has a section for each of the 5 main role types in schools: School Leadership, Teaching and Learning Leadership, Teaching and Learning, School Management and Technology. You can examine the views of each of these roles and read the whole report here.
